The Mississippi Geocachers Association has over 250 registered members for the forum and another 300 active geocachers within the state. We believe there is another 150 geocachers within the state that still participate in geocaching, but not on a regular occurrence.

Over the past 5 years, geocaching in Mississippi has boomed from an estimated 2000 caches hidden to nearly 6000 at present day.
