Well, the time is getting nearer and I'm getting excited. I've decided to go to Lauderdale county instead of the coast. My original plan was to stop by Lucedale on my way home Sunday, but after reading the logs on how hard those caches are to find, I decided to go the opposite direction for the time being. _________________ ~ Stephanie ~

Yes drink plenty of DEET and spray down with water . Or use Sulphorin a Sock and dust your ankles to stop the Redbugs _________________

Duck may be on to something here. Drink plenty of DEET so the ticks puke when the bite you. I got 0 redbugs but ate up with ticks and those suckers over there are mean I still have scars where they were attacked. I have never seen ticks do this to me before. SWSEC trains them to feed on geocachers. _________________

So you're saying I should stay out of the woods as much as possible? _________________ ~ Stephanie ~

I wouldn't go in those woods until we ge a good frost, myself. We used no spray at all, and we picked over 200 ticks off us. Good luck. _________________

|

Good grief! Was this just at Bonita Lake or all over Meridian? _________________ ~ Stephanie ~

Just wanted to say that I had a great weekend. I found 42 caches and 8 benchmarks. That will probably be the last of my hunting for awhile. Once the boys start school, I'll be back to writing again. I will be hiding some though. _________________ ~ Stephanie ~

Did you find the caches you emailed me about? I was without internet except for fast food places. _________________

Nope, I didn't. I went back to The Supreme Sacrifice and I saw what looked like fishing line attached to the gate above the sign, but no cache. It looked like the line had been cut. I'm going to email the owner and ask about it.
I couldn't get near the Art one again because there were so many people in the area, and a policeman kept driving by. My coords on the Curb Cache one kept taking me to the sidewalk, but I looked in all the areas you told me about and still couldn't find anything. I'll have to try those two again the next time I'm up that way. _________________ ~ Stephanie ~

I think that curb cache was behind the store. I cant remember. Email me the Name and GC number I will look it up and make sure I told you right. The Supreme cache was attached to a wire and was hanging behind the sign. I was surprised it was there so long and had not been muggled. I found one there before behind the small rock plaque across from the door. _________________
